MPEG

The Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG) is a working group of authorities that was formed by ISO and IEC to set standards for audio and video compression and transmission.It was established in 1988 by the initiative of Hiroshi Yasuda (Nippon Telegraph and Telephone) and Leonardo Chiariglione, group Chair since its inception. The first MPEG meeting was in May 1988 in Ottawa, Canada. As of late 2005, MPEG has grown to include approximately 350 members per meeting from various industries, universities, and research institutions

WMV

Windows Media Video (WMV) is a series of video codecs and their corresponding video coding formats developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Windows Media framework. WMV consists of three distinct codecs: The original video compression technology known as WMV, was originally designed for Internet streaming applications, as a competitor to RealVideo. The other compression technologies, WMV Screen and WMV Image, cater for specialized content.

Step-By-Step to Convert MPEG to WMV

Interface

Step 1. Download and install the program, then double click it to run it, and then you'll see the main interface of the program.

Load Files

Step 2. Click "Add File(s)" button. Here you can select "Add Video" or "Add Folder" button to add files as you like.

Profile

Step 3. Click the drop-down arrow right beside the "Profile" column and select your desired video format from the drop-down list.

Edit

Step 4. Click "Edit" button to customize the output video like Effect, Trim, Crop, 3D Settings and Watermark.
