XviD is a video codec library following the MPEG-4 video coding standard, specifically MPEG-4 Part 2 Advanced Simple Profile (ASP). Xvid is a primary competitor of the DivX Pro Codec. Step 1. Download and install the program, then double click it to run it, and then you'll see the main interface of the program.
