Step 1:

Select the output format MP4 in the Profile drop-down list, and specify the output directory.

If you think the black sides appearing in the frame is unnecessary, you can use Crop to remove them easily. The easiest way is to drag yellow dotted line to specify the area you want to remove.

Step 3:

Click the button "Start" to begin conversion. After successfully convert MPEG files to MP4, the converted mp4 files will be stored in the folder you have previously selected.
